Some things always surprize me. We have been getting calls from all over the country now about the SSK-1022. It took quite a while for us to sell any after the first lot we made and sold to the local unit. Now word is spreading. We’ve sold 20 to a facility in North Carolina and have interest from many others for modified versions to fit other valves by Bradley, and Symmons. We make so many solutions for issues that it really shocks me when one takes off like this. We are listed now with only two others as making a ligature prevention style knob that is accepted by the State of New York. Engineering firms are starting to call out the SSK-1022 knob on new bids. The New York OMH has our Handle link on page 169. http://www.omh.ny.gov/omhweb/patient_safety_standards/guide.pdf
Since this posting we have been making handles for years and are selling nationwide directly and through various distributors. Sorry about the link above being incorrect for a few months. We never know when these government pages get updated and refreshed. So, as of 4/24/15 the link works. These Handles have been retrofitted to many American Standard, Bradley, Delta, Kohler, Leonard, Moen, Powers, Speakman, Symmons, and Zurn. Some are used in Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, New York, literally all over this Continent. I’m grateful to God for our opportunity to make the world a safer place.
